One of the biggest reasons items don’t sell in our virtual sale is simple: presentation. Clean, well-prepared items consistently sell faster and for higher prices.

Before you start listing, take a few extra minutes to prep each item:

✔ Wash clothing and remove stains, pet hair, wrinkles, and odors
✔ Check for missing buttons, broken zippers, loose seams, and stretched elastic
✔ Test toys, electronics, and battery-operated items (include batteries if applicable)
✔ Wipe down baby gear, strollers, high chairs, and equipment
✔ Make sure games, puzzles, and sets are complete
✔ Carefully inspect items for wear and remove any items with flaws

Remember: shoppers are trusting your descriptions when they make a purchase. The more accurately you represent your items, the more confident buyers will feel—and the more successful you'll be at the sale!

Pro Tip: Take a few extra seconds to look over each item before listing it. Small details matter, and quality items create happy shoppers who come back sale after sale.
